The Huawei Mate 40 Pro is much better than the Samsung Galaxy S5, with a score of 90.9 against 80.8. Although Huawei Mate 40 Pro is incredibly newer than Samsung Galaxy S5, it's somewhat thicker and way heavier. These phones have Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei Mate 40 Pro has 10 version and Samsung Galaxy S5 has Android 4.4.2 version.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro features a little better performance than Galaxy S5, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, it also counts with more cores and a greater amount of RAM memory. The Galaxy S5 has a better screen than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, because although it has a really smaller screen and a lot worse resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, it also counts with more pixels per inch in the screen.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S5, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage. The Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a greater camera than Galaxy S5, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also has a much more megapixels back facing camera, a lot larger back camera sensor providing a lot better image quality, better video frame rate and a bigger diafragm aperture for better images and videos in low-light environments.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro features a much better battery lifetime than Galaxy S5, because it has a 57 percent larger battery size.
