Comparison review
The Huawei P30 is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S5, having an 81.7 score against 80.8. Huawei P30's construction is way newer and a little bit thinner than Samsung Galaxy S5's, although it is also somewhat heavier. Both of these phones include Android OS (operating system), but Huawei P30 has the older 10 version while Samsung Galaxy S5 has Android 4.4.2.
The Huawei P30 counts with a CPU that's very similar to Galaxy S5's processor, because although the Huawei P30 has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM and a higher number of cores. Galaxy S5 has a much better display than Huawei P30, because although it has a bit smaller display and a bit worse resolution of 1920 x 1080px, it also counts with a better pixel density.
The Huawei P30 features much more memory capacity to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S5, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory. The Huawei P30 captures much clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S5, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Huawei P30 also has a much bigger sensor capturing lot higher quality videos and pictures, a back-facing camera with lot more mega pixels and a bigger diafragm aperture for better low-light photography.
Huawei P30 features longer battery performance than Galaxy S5, because it has 3650mAh of battery capacity.
Although Huawei P30 is a better device, it costs more than the Samsung Galaxy S5, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy S5. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy Samsung Galaxy S5, and give up a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your money.
