Comparison review
The Galaxy S5 is just a bit better than LG Q70, getting a score of 80.8 against 77.9. The Galaxy S5 is a notably lighter phone than LG Q70, but they have the same thickness. Both phones we compare here work with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy S5 has newer 4.4.2 version and LG Q70 has Android 10, providing a couple additional features and some performance improvements.
The Galaxy S5 has a way better looking display than LG Q70, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1920 x 1080px and a much smaller screen, it also counts with a better pixel amount per inch in the display. LG Q70 has a much better storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S5, because it has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB and 64 GB internal memory.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 counts with a little better hardware performance than LG Q70, because although it has an inferior number of cores (but faster) and a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor. LG Q70 counts with a little bit better camera than Galaxy S5, because although it has a smaller sensor which offers a lower photo and video quality, and they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the LG Q70 also counts with a bigger aperture and a camera in the back with way more mega-pixels.
LG Q70 features a superior battery duration than Galaxy S5, because it has a 43% bigger battery capacity.
Samsung Galaxy S5 costs a little more than LG Q70, but it's still a great deal, as you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
