Comparison review
The LG Velvet has an overall score of 87.1, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy S5's 80.8 general score. The LG Velvet construction is newer and a little thinner than Galaxy S5's, but it is somewhat heavier. Galaxy S5 has a bit better processor than LG Velvet, because although it has less processing cores and a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with a graphics co-processor.
The Galaxy S5 features a much better display than LG Velvet, because although it has a really smaller display and a bit lower resolution of 1920 x 1080px, it also counts with a higher display pixels density. LG Velvet features a very superior memory capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy S5, because it has 128 GB internal memory capacity and a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB.
LG Velvet has a much better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S5, because it has a 54 percent larger battery capacity. The LG Velvet shoots much better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S5, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same (4K) video definition, the LG Velvet also has a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor which provides a lot better image and video quality, a bigger aperture to capture better low-light photos and video and a back camera with a much better resolution.
Even being the best phone of the ones in this comparison, LG Velvet is also a bargain compared to the other phones.
