Comparison review

Galaxy S5 is a little bit better than the Motorola Edge 40, having an 80.8 score against 77.2. Both devices we compare here use Android OS, but the Galaxy S5 has newer 4.4.2 version and Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13, so it provides some extra features and better performance. The Galaxy S5 is a much older and a bit thicker cellphone than Motorola Edge 40, but Samsung managed to build it lighter anyway.

The Galaxy S5 counts with a way better hardware performance than Motorola Edge 40, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory and an inferior number of cores , it also counts with a graphics co-processor. Samsung Galaxy S5 has a little more vivid display than Motorola Edge 40, because although it has a lot smaller screen and a little worse resolution of 1920 x 1080px, it also counts with a greater display pixels density.

The Motorola Edge 40 counts with a superior camera than Samsung Galaxy S5, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Motorola Edge 40 also has a way bigger back camera sensor taking way better quality videos and photos, a much larger aperture for better captures and video in poorly lited environments and a camera in the back with way more mega-pixels.

The Motorola Edge 40 has a much better storage for applications and games than Galaxy S5, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity. The Motorola Edge 40 features a very superior battery duration than Galaxy S5, because it has a 4400mAh battery size.
