Comparison review

Galaxy S5 is slightly better than the Motorola Moto G8 Power, with a general score of 80.8 against 76. Both devices we are comparing have Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy S5 has the newer 4.4.2 version while Motorola Moto G8 Power has Android 10 version, so it provides the user a couple nice extra features. The Galaxy S5 is an a lot older cellphone than Motorola Moto G8 Power, but it is somewhat thinner and incredibly lighter anyway.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 has just a bit better processing power than Motorola Moto G8 Power, because although it has 1 GB less RAM memory and 4 less CPU cores , it also counts with an additional graphics processing unit. The Samsung Galaxy S5 counts with an incredibly better screen than Moto G8 Power, because although it has a little lower 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and a much smaller display, it also counts with a better screen pixels density.

Moto G8 Power has much more memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy S5, because it has 64 GB internal storage capacity and a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 512 GB. Moto G8 Power and Galaxy S5 have extremely similar cameras, because although the Moto G8 Power has a tinier back-facing camera sensor capturing less light and dull colors, and they both have the same video definition, the same video frame rates and the same resolution back facing camera, it also counts with a way larger aperture for better low-light images.

The Moto G8 Power counts with a superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy S5, because it has a 79% bigger battery capacity.

Although Galaxy S5 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Motorola Moto G8 Power, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Motorola Moto G8 Power. If you want to save some money, you can get the Motorola Moto G8 Power, letting go a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most out of your money.
