Comparison review
Galaxy S5 has a score of 80.8, which is slightly better than Galaxy A6's overall score of 75.8. The Galaxy S5 design is somewhat lighter than the Galaxy A6, but it's just a little thicker and was released 4 years before. Samsung Galaxy S5 features a much sharper screen than Galaxy A6, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much better pixel density and a higher 1920 x 1080px resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy A6 has a better storage capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S5, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A6 also has an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 400 GB. The Galaxy S5 has just a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy A6, because although it has lesser cores , and they both have 3 GB of RAM memory, the Galaxy S5 also counts with an extra GPU.
Samsung Galaxy S5 shoots slightly better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy A6, because although it has a much smaller camera aperture which is not so good for low-light images, and they both have a back camera with a 16 MP resolution, the Samsung Galaxy S5 also counts with a larger back-facing camera sensor which offers a better photo and video quality and a lot better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition.
The Samsung Galaxy A6 has just a bit better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S5, because it has a 7 percent greater battery size.
Although Galaxy S5 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy A6, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy A6. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy the Galaxy A6, giving up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your money.
