The Samsung Galaxy S5 counts with a much better looking display than Galaxy J8, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a higher 1920 x 1080 resolution and a lot higher display pixel density. Galaxy S5 counts with just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy J8, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM and less processing cores , it also counts with an extra GPU.

Galaxy J8 counts with a way bigger memory to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S5, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB and 64 GB internal memory. The Galaxy S5 takes a bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy J8, because although it has a much smaller aperture which is not nice for low-light photography and videos, and they both have a 16 mega-pixels camera in the back, the Galaxy S5 also counts with a bigger back-facing camera sensor taking higher quality pictures and videos and a lot better video definition.
