The Samsung Galaxy S25 is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy S5, getting a score of 82.6 against 80.8. The Samsung Galaxy S25 body is noticeably thinner and extremely lighter than the Samsung Galaxy S5. Both phones we are comparing here have Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy S25 has 14 version while Samsung Galaxy S5 has Android 4.4.2.

Samsung Galaxy S5 and Galaxy S25 have really similar screens, because although the Galaxy S25 has a way lower amount of pixels per screen inch, it also counts with a slightly better 1080 x 2340 resolution and a bigger display. Samsung Galaxy S5 features a much better performing processor than Galaxy S25, because although it has a lower number of cores and a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with an additional GPU.

Galaxy S25 captures greater photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy S5, because it has a much bigger sensor, a way better 7680x4320 video definition, a back-facing camera with a lot better 50 mega pixels resolution and a bigger camera aperture for better photos in low light situations. Galaxy S25 counts with a very superior storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S5, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with more internal memory.

The Galaxy S25 features a really longer battery lifetime than Galaxy S5, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity against 2800mAh.

Although Samsung Galaxy S25 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy S5, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy S5. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy S25, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Galaxy S5, giving up a couple features and specifications.
