Comparison review
Galaxy S5 is a little bit better than Galaxy S4, getting an 80.8 score against 79. The Galaxy S5 is a newer cellphone than Galaxy S4, but it is somewhat heavier and a bit thicker. Both phones we are comparing come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy S5 has newer 4.4.2 version and Galaxy S4 has Android 4.4 version, so it offers a couple additional features and a performance increase.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 counts with a bit better display than Galaxy S4, and although they both have the same 1920 x 1080 resolution, the Samsung Galaxy S5 also has a higher pixels density and a little larger display. The Galaxy S4 counts with a bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S5, because although it has a SD memory slot that holds a maximum of 64 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with more internal memory.
The Galaxy S5 counts with a little faster CPU than Galaxy S4, and although they both have 4 processing cores, the Galaxy S5 also has a better 500 MHz GPU and 1 GB more RAM. The Samsung Galaxy S5 takes much better pictures and videos than Galaxy S4, and although they both have the same diafragm aperture, the Samsung Galaxy S5 also has a bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a higher image quality, a camera with more mega pixels and a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
The Galaxy S5 counts with just a little bit longer battery performance than Galaxy S4, because it has 2800mAh of battery capacity.
Although Galaxy S5 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy S4, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy S4. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Galaxy S5, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Galaxy S4, letting go some features and specs.
