The Samsung Galaxy S5 is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, getting a global score of 80.8 against 78.1. Samsung Galaxy S5's construction has the same weight and thickness than the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus. Both of these phones come with the same Android 4.4.2 OS (Operating System). The Samsung Galaxy S5 has a little sharper screen than Galaxy S5 Plus, and although they both have an equal resolution of 1920 x 1080px and a display with the same size, the Samsung Galaxy S5 also has a higher display density.
Samsung Galaxy S5 has a bit superior processing unit than Galaxy S5 Plus, and although they both have a 500 megahertz graphics co-processor and a Quad-Core processing unit, the Samsung Galaxy S5 also has a greater amount of RAM memory. Galaxy S5 features a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus. Both of them have a F2.2 camera aperture, a 16 megapixels resolution back facing camera, the same back camera sensor size, the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate.
The Galaxy S5 has a very superior memory for apps and games than Galaxy S5 Plus, and although they both have a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB, the Galaxy S5 also has 32 GB internal memory capacity. Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus's battery lifetime is very similar to the Galaxy S5 one.
Although Samsung Galaxy S5 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy S5 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy S5 Plus. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy S5, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Galaxy S5 Plus, resigning some features and specs.
