The Galaxy S6 Active is a bit better than Galaxy S5, having a overall score of 80.9 against 80.8. Galaxy S6 Active is a a little bit thicker but extremely lighter cellphone than Galaxy S5. Both devices in this comparison review come with Android operating system, but the Galaxy S6 Active has a more recent 5.0 version while Galaxy S5 has Android 4.4.2 version, counting with some additional features and optimized performance.
The Galaxy S6 Active has just a little better processing power than Galaxy S5, and although they both have 3 GB of RAM memory, the Galaxy S6 Active also has a 64-bit processing unit, a higher number of cores and a better 650 MHz graphics processing unit. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Active features a bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy S5, and although they both have a greater pixel number in each screen inch and a display of the same size, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active also has a better 2560 x 1440 resolution.
