Xperia XZ2 Premium has an overall score of 82.2, which is slightly better than the Galaxy S5's global score of 80.8. The Xperia XZ2 Premium body is noticeably newer, but way thicker and a lot heavier than the Galaxy S5. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a bit sharper screen than Galaxy S5, because it has a way better resolution of 2160 x 3840px, a little bit bigger display and a better pixel count per screen inch.
Xperia XZ2 Premium has a much bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S5, because it has a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 400 GB and 64 GB internal storage capacity. The Xperia XZ2 Premium has a bit superior CPU than Galaxy S5, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with 3 GB more RAM memory and more processing cores.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a little bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy S5, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same video frame rate, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a back camera with more mega-pixels, a bigger diafragm aperture and a bigger sensor which provides a higher image and video quality.
