Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S5 is just a bit better than the Xperia Z5, having a global score of 80.8 against 77.6. Samsung Galaxy S5 is an older and just a bit thicker phone than the Xperia Z5, but Samsung could make it a bit lighter anyway. These phones have Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy S5 has the older 4.4.2 version while Xperia Z5 has Android 5.1 version.
The Galaxy S5 features a little more vivid screen than Xperia Z5, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have an equal 1920 x 1080 resolution, the Galaxy S5 also counts with a higher screen pixel density. Xperia Z5 features a bit bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S5, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal storage capacity, the Xperia Z5 also has an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 200 GB.
The Galaxy S5 has a bit faster processor than Sony Xperia Z5, because although it has an inferior number of cores , and they both have the same RAM amount, the Galaxy S5 also counts with a better 500 megahertz GPU. Sony Xperia Z5 takes clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy S5, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Sony Xperia Z5 also has a larger diafragm aperture to take better low light images, a bigger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a back facing camera with a much better 23 mega-pixels resolution.
Xperia Z5 features just a little better battery duration than Galaxy S5, because it has a 4% bigger battery size.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 not only is the best phones in our comparison, but it's also cheaper than the Sony Xperia Z5, which makes this phone a very good choice.
