Samsung Galaxy S5 has a general score of 80.8, which is a bit better than Xiaomi Mi 6's 76.5 overall score. Samsung Galaxy S5 is a incredibly older and just a bit thicker device than the Xiaomi Mi 6, but Samsung could make it lighter anyway. Xiaomi Mi 6 features a CPU that's very similar to the Galaxy S5 one, because although the Xiaomi Mi 6 has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM and a higher number of cores.
The Galaxy S5 counts with a sharper display than Xiaomi Mi 6, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, the Galaxy S5 also counts with a greater count of pixels per screen inch. Xiaomi Mi 6 features a very superior storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy S5, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
Galaxy S5 captures just a bit better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi 6, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not so good for low-light images and videos, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Galaxy S5 also counts with a bigger back-facing camera sensor taking higher quality videos and photos and a lot more mega pixels camera.
The Xiaomi Mi 6 features improved battery lifetime than Galaxy S5, because it has a 3350mAh battery capacity.
Despite of being the best phone in our comparison, Samsung Galaxy S5 is also cheap compared to the other phone, which makes this phone a very good choice.
