Samsung Galaxy S5 has an overall score of 80.8, which is a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite's 77.7 general score. Both phones in our current comparison come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy S5 has an older 4.4.2 version while Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has Android 8.1 Oreo. Samsung Galaxy S5 is a just a little thicker but somewhat lighter phone than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 has just a bit better processing power than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because although it has a lower number of cores (although they are faster) and a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with an extra GPU. The Galaxy S5 has a brighter display than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because although it has a bit lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher display density.

Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite counts with a lot bigger storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy S5, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with more internal memory. The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S5, because it has a 3350mAh battery size instead of 2800mAh.

Samsung Galaxy S5 has a slightly better camera than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because although it has a tinier sensor taking less light and duller colors and a smaller camera aperture which is not recommended for taking photos and videos in low light environments, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video definition, the Samsung Galaxy S5 also counts with a back camera with lot more mega pixels.
