Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy S5, getting an 83.8 score against 80.8. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s design has the same thickness than Samsung Galaxy S5, but it's heavier. Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s counts with a little better hardware performance than Galaxy S5, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM and more cores.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 counts with a brighter screen than Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better count of pixels per screen inch. The Galaxy S5 takes a little bit better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not good for low light photography and video and a tinier back camera sensor which gives a lower photo and video quality, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Galaxy S5 also counts with a camera with a lot higher 16 megapixels resolution.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s has much more storage capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy S5, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity. Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s has greater battery life than Galaxy S5, because it has a 3400mAh battery size.
Although Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy S5, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy S5. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy the Galaxy S5, and give up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your budget.
