Galaxy S5 has an overall score of 80.8, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro's general score of 75.8. Galaxy S5 is a lighter phone than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, but they are equally thin. Both of these devices work with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy S5 has an older 4.4.2 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo.
Samsung Galaxy S5 has a way better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because although it has a bit smaller screen and a bit worse 1920 x 1080 resolution, it also counts with a greater display density. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro counts with a much bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy S5, and although they both have a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro also has 32 GB more internal storage capacity.
Galaxy S5 counts with a bit superior processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM and an inferior number of cores , it also counts with an extra graphics processor. The Galaxy S5 takes better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have a F2.2 aperture, the Galaxy S5 also has a way better (4K) video quality and a lot more mega pixels back facing camera.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro features a really longer battery duration than Galaxy S5, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.
