The Apple iPhone 6 Plus has a global score of 80.4, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus's 78.1 general score. Apple iPhone 6 Plus works with iOS 8.x OS, and Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus has Android 4.4.2 OS. Although the Apple iPhone 6 Plus and Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus were released only 3 months apart, Apple iPhone 6 Plus's body is somewhat heavier but somewhat thinner.
The iPhone 6 Plus features a little bit better screen than Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has a just a bit lower pixel quantity per inch in the display, and they both have an equal resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, the iPhone 6 Plus also counts with a bit larger screen. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Apple iPhone 6 Plus, because although it has a 32-bits processor instead of 64-bits, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM memory, 2 more cores and a better graphics processing unit.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus has just a bit better camera than Apple iPhone 6 Plus, and although they both have the same aperture, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus also has a back facing camera with lot more mega-pixels, a larger sensor providing a higher image quality and a much higher 3840x2160 video quality.

Although Apple iPhone 6 Plus is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy S5 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy S5 Plus. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Apple iPhone 6 Plus, else you can save some dollars and get the Galaxy S5 Plus, resigning a couple features and specifications.
