The iPhone 8 Plus is much better than Galaxy S5 Plus, having an 87.1 score against 78.1. IPhone 8 Plus's body is way newer and a little thinner than the Galaxy S5 Plus's, but it's also much heavier. The iPhone 8 Plus counts with just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, it also counts with a 64-bit processor, a greater number of cores (although slower) and a larger amount of RAM.
Galaxy S5 Plus features a bit better screen than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have the same 1920 x 1080 resolution, the Galaxy S5 Plus also counts with a little better pixel density. The iPhone 8 Plus counts with a superior storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.
The Galaxy S5 Plus has a bit superior battery lifetime than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, because it has 2800mAh of battery capacity against 2691mAh. The iPhone 8 Plus counts with a little bit better camera than Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has a camera with a much lower resolution, a tinier back-facing camera sensor capturing lower quality videos and photographs and a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, it also counts with a larger diafragm aperture.
