Apple iPhone XS has a global score of 84.2, which is a bit better than Galaxy S5 Plus's 78.1 overall score. Apple iPhone XS is a noticeably newer and a little bit thinner cellphone than the Galaxy S5 Plus, but it is somewhat heavier. IPhone XS features a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, it also counts with more CPU cores , more RAM memory and a 64 bits processor.
Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus has a bit more vivid display than Apple iPhone XS, although it has a just a bit less pixels per inch of display, a little smaller display and a little worse resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The Apple iPhone XS takes a bit better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has a much less mega-pixels resolution camera in the back and a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, it also counts with a larger camera sensor capturing higher quality videos and photos and a larger aperture for better images and videos in low light environments.
Apple iPhone XS features a better storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity. Although Apple iPhone XS is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy S5 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy S5 Plus. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get the Galaxy S5 Plus, letting go a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
