Comparison review

Google Nexus 6 is slightly better than the Galaxy S5 Plus, getting an 81.1 score against 78.1. These phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but Google Nexus 6 has a newer 5.1 version and Galaxy S5 Plus has Android 4.4.2 version. Despite being the best cellphone in this review, we must tell that it's also noticeably thicker and way heavier.

The Galaxy S5 Plus has a bit more vivid screen than Google Nexus 6, although it has a way worse 1920 x 1080px resolution, a little bit inferior amount of pixels per inch in the screen and a bit smaller screen. Google Nexus 6 has a quite bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory.

Google Nexus 6 counts with a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit and a 500 megahertz GPU, the Google Nexus 6 also has more RAM. Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus features just a bit better camera than Google Nexus 6, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for low light captures and videos, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus also counts with a back facing camera with a better resolution.

The Google Nexus 6 counts with just a bit better battery life than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a 3220mAh battery capacity against 2800mAh.

Although Google Nexus 6 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Google Nexus 6, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, giving up a couple features and specs.
