Google Pixel is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, with a overall score of 80.2 against 78.1. Even though Google Pixel is just a bit thicker than the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, it's just a little bit lighter and also noticeably newer. Galaxy S5 Plus counts with a little bit better performance than Google Pixel, because although it has less RAM, and they both have a Quad-Core processor, the Galaxy S5 Plus also counts with an additional GPU.
Galaxy S5 Plus has a more vivid display than Google Pixel, because although it has a little bit worse pixels density, and they both have an equal 1920 x 1080 resolution, the Galaxy S5 Plus also counts with a little larger screen. Google Pixel features much more memory capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory.
Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus counts with a little longer battery performance than Google Pixel, because it has a 2800mAh battery size against 2770mAh. The Google Pixel counts with a camera that is just as good as Galaxy S5 Plus's camera, because although the Google Pixel has a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a back camera with much less MP, it also counts with a bigger back camera sensor providing a better image quality and a larger aperture.
Although Google Pixel is a better device, it is more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Google Pixel, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, resigning some features and specifications.
