Comparison review
The Google Pixel 4 is a little bit better than the Galaxy S5 Plus, getting an 81.9 score against 78.1. The Google Pixel 4 design has the same thickness than the Galaxy S5 Plus, but it's somewhat heavier. Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus counts with a little more vivid display than Google Pixel 4, although it has a quite worse screen density, a quite smaller display and a bit worse 1920 x 1080 resolution.
The Google Pixel 4 features a bit superior processor than Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM and a higher number of cores (and faster). Google Pixel 4's camera is very similar to the camera in Galaxy S5 Plus, because although the Google Pixel 4 has a worse video quality and a lot less MP back camera, it also counts with a larger back camera sensor taking better quality pictures and a way bigger aperture for better low light images.
The Google Pixel 4 features more memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage. Google Pixel 4 has a battery life that's very similar to Galaxy S5 Plus's battery duration.
Although Google Pixel 4 is a better device, it costs more than the Galaxy S5 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy S5 Plus. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Google Pixel 4, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy S5 Plus, resigning a couple specifications.
