Comparison review
The Huawei P50 is much better than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, getting an 86.3 score against 78.1. Huawei P50 is a a lot newer and just a bit thinner cellphone than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, although it's also somewhat heavier. The Huawei P50 works with HarmonyOS operating system, and Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus counts with Android 4.4.2 operating system.
Huawei P50 features a little better hardware performance than Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM and a larger number of cores. Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus counts with a slightly better looking display than Huawei P50, although it has a little bit worse amount of pixels per display inch, a way lower 1920 x 1080 resolution and a lot smaller screen.
The Galaxy S5 Plus features a bit better camera than Huawei P50, although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for taking photographs and/or video in low-light environments and a camera in the back with a much worse 16 mega pixels resolution. The Huawei P50 has a much greater storage for applications and games than Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory capacity.
