LG G8 ThinQ is a bit better than the Galaxy S5 Plus, having an 84.3 score against 78.1. Both phones in this review have Android operating system, but the LG G8 ThinQ has newer 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy S5 Plus has Android 4.4.2 version, so it gives some extra features. LG G8 ThinQ is a newer phone than Galaxy S5 Plus, although it's just a bit thicker and heavier.

LG G8 ThinQ features a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM memory and a larger number of cores. The LG G8 ThinQ has a little sharper screen than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a lot better resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels, a higher number of pixels per inch of screen and a bigger display.

The LG G8 ThinQ counts with a much greater storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB and 112 GB more internal storage capacity.
