LG G8S ThinQ is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, having an 82.5 score against 78.1. Both phones we are comparing come with Android operating system, but the LG G8S ThinQ has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus has Android 4.4.2, providing the user a couple nice extra features and increased performance. LG G8S ThinQ's design is much newer and a little bit thinner than the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus's, although it's also somewhat heavier.

LG G8S ThinQ features just a bit better processing power than Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM and more cpu cores. The Galaxy S5 Plus features a brighter display than LG G8S ThinQ, because although it has a little worse 1920 x 1080 resolution and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit higher count of pixels per inch of display.

LG G8S ThinQ counts with a lot bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a SD card slot that supports up to 1,95 TB and 128 GB internal memory. LG G8S ThinQ features better battery life than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a 3550mAh battery size. The LG G8S ThinQ takes just a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a much less megapixels back-facing camera, it also counts with a bigger aperture.
