LG V35 ThinQ is just a bit better than Galaxy S5 Plus, with an 81.3 score against 78.1. The LG V35 ThinQ is a a lot newer and a little thinner phone than the Galaxy S5 Plus, but it's a little bit heavier. Galaxy S5 Plus has a bit more vivid display than LG V35 ThinQ, although it has a bit smaller display, a just a little less pixels per display inch and a much lower 1920 x 1080 resolution.

The LG V35 ThinQ counts with a much better memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB and more internal storage. LG V35 ThinQ features a bit better performance than Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, it also counts with more RAM memory and a higher number of cores (and they are faster).

The LG V35 ThinQ counts with greater battery duration than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity instead of 2800mAh. The LG V35 ThinQ captures clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has a tinier back camera sensor capturing lower quality images, and they both have the same resolution back facing camera, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the LG V35 ThinQ also counts with a lot bigger diafragm aperture to capture better low-light photography.

The LG V35 ThinQ costs a bit more than Galaxy S5 Plus, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
