Comparison review

Galaxy S5 Plus has a general score of 78.1, which is just a bit better than the Motorola Edge 40's 77.2 overall score. Both of these phones have Android operating system, but the Galaxy S5 Plus has a newer 4.4.2 version while Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13 version, counting with a couple nice extra features. The Galaxy S5 Plus design is lighter than the Motorola Edge 40, although it is just a bit thicker and was released many years before.

The Galaxy S5 Plus features a little bit better screen than Motorola Edge 40, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a much smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit higher pixel density. Motorola Edge 40 features a much better memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with more internal storage.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus counts with a much greater performance than Motorola Edge 40, because although it has a lower number of cores and a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor. Motorola Edge 40 takes way better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same video definition, the Motorola Edge 40 also has a way larger aperture to capture better photos and videos in low light situations, a back camera with a much higher resolution and a way bigger sensor capturing much better quality photos.

The Motorola Edge 40 features a way better battery life than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a 57% bigger battery size.
