Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus has a general score of 78.1, which is a little bit better than the Moto G9 Play's 76.7 global score. Both phones we compare here have Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus has the newer 4.4.2 version while Moto G9 Play has Android 10 version. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus design is a lot lighter and somewhat thinner than the Moto G9 Play, despite of the fact that it was released many years before.

Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus features a bit better processor than Motorola Moto G9 Play, because although it has less cpu cores and a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with an extra graphics processing unit. The Galaxy S5 Plus counts with a much better looking display than Moto G9 Play, because although it has a way smaller display, it also counts with a lot better screen pixel density and a better 1920 x 1080px resolution.

The Moto G9 Play captures better pictures and videos than Galaxy S5 Plus, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the Moto G9 Play also has a way larger diafragm aperture, a lot more mega pixels camera, faster video frame rates and a much bigger sensor shooting much higher quality videos and photos.

The Moto G9 Play has a way bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has 48 GB more internal memory capacity and a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 512 GB. The Motorola Moto G9 Play has a much longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a 79 percent larger battery capacity.
