Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is just a bit better than the Galaxy S5 Plus, with a score of 81.2 against 78.1. Both of these devices come with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has the newer 5.0 version while Galaxy S5 Plus has Android 4.4.2 version, so it provides you a lot of extra features and performance improvements. Although it's the best phone we are comparing, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 construction is older, a bit thicker and somewhat heavier than Galaxy S5 Plus.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus features a slightly better looking display than Galaxy Note 3, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have an equal resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch in the screen. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has a superior memory to install games and applications than Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 64 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity.
The Galaxy S5 Plus has a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM, and they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Galaxy S5 Plus also counts with a better 500 megahertz graphics co-processor. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 features a bit longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a 3200mAh battery size.
Galaxy S5 Plus has a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have a F2.2 diafragm aperture, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy S5 Plus also has a bigger back camera sensor providing a higher image quality and a back facing camera with a higher 16 MP resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 costs a bit more money than Galaxy S5 Plus, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
