Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition is a bit better than the Galaxy S5 Plus, with a score of 80.4 against 78.1. The Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition is a notably newer and a bit thinner cellphone than Galaxy S5 Plus, although it is also somewhat heavier. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus has a little faster processor than Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has a lower number of cores (but faster) and a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a graphics processing unit.
Galaxy S5 Plus features a bit better looking screen than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, although it has a quite smaller screen, a little bit worse pixels density and a much lower resolution of 1920 x 1080px. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus features just a bit better camera than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has a much tinier aperture which is not recommended for capturing photos or video in low-light environments and a smaller sensor shooting lower quality images, and they both have the same video quality and the same video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus also counts with a camera with a lot higher resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition counts with a much bigger memory to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has 48 GB more internal memory capacity and an external memory slot that allows up to 256 GB. The Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition has just a little better battery performance than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a 3200mAh battery size instead of 2800mAh.
Although Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy S5 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy S5 Plus. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy Galaxy S5 Plus, letting go a couple features, but you will get the most with your money.
