Both phones in this review include Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy S22 has the previous 13 version while Galaxy S5 Plus has Android 4.4.2. The Samsung Galaxy S22 is a newer and just a little bit thinner phone than Galaxy S5 Plus, although it's somewhat heavier.
Samsung Galaxy S22 has a bit better processing unit than Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory and a larger number of cores. The Samsung Galaxy S22 has a bit sharper display than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has a bit worse screen pixels density, it also counts with a slightly better 1080 x 2340 resolution and a larger display.
Samsung Galaxy S22 features a way better camera than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a lot larger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors, a back facing camera with a much higher 50 MP resolution, a way higher video quality and a larger aperture to take better captures and video in low light environments.
