The Galaxy S22 Ultra is a lot better than the Galaxy S5 Plus, having a 95.4 score against 78.1. The Galaxy S22 Ultra design is extremely newer than the Galaxy S5 Plus's, but it's a bit thicker and notably heavier. Both devices in our current comparison come with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy S22 Ultra has the previous 13 version and Galaxy S5 Plus has Android 4.4.2 version.

The Galaxy S22 Ultra features a little bit better looking screen than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a much larger display, a little bit higher pixels quantity in each inch in the screen and a much higher resolution of 1440 x 3088px.
Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra has a way better camera than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a back-facing camera with a much better 108 mega-pixels resolution, a much higher 7680x4320 video resolution, a lot larger camera sensor shooting lot higher quality pictures and videos and a larger camera aperture for better captures and video in poorly lited situations.
Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra features a very superior storage to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. The Galaxy S22 Ultra features a much longer battery performance than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a 79 percent bigger battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy S5 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy S5 Plus. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy S5 Plus, giving up some features and specs.
