Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy S6 is better than the Galaxy S5 Plus, with an 87.4 score against 78.1. Both devices in our current comparison use Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy S6 has a newer 5.0 version while Galaxy S5 Plus has Android 4.4.2 version, offering a lot of extra features. The Samsung Galaxy S6 is a newer cellphone, and it is also just a little bit lighter and thinner than the Galaxy S5 Plus.

Samsung Galaxy S6 features a bit better looking display than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Samsung Galaxy S6 also has a greater display density and a better 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution. Galaxy S6 features a lot bigger memory for games and applications than Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 112 GB more internal storage.

The Galaxy S6 counts with a bit superior CPU than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a 64-bit processing unit, a much better graphics processing unit running at 650 MHz, 1 GB more RAM memory and 4 more processing cores (although slower). The Galaxy S6 shoots a bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy S5 Plus, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition, the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, a 16 mega-pixels back camera and a same size camera sensor, the Galaxy S6 also has a larger camera aperture to capture better low-light captures and videos.

The Galaxy S5 Plus has a bit longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy S6, because it has 2800mAh of battery capacity against 2550mAh.

Galaxy S6 is a bit more expensive than Galaxy S5 Plus, but it's still a great deal, as you can get a lot more for that extra money.
