The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, having a overall score of 85.7 against 78.1. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a newer cellphone, and it's also thinner and a little bit lighter than the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus. These devices include Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has the newer 5.0 version and Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus has Android 4.4.2, counting with a couple nice extra features and performance tweaks.
The Galaxy S6 Edge has just a bit better looking display than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Galaxy S6 Edge also has a better count of pixels per inch in the screen and a better 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution.
