The Galaxy S5 Plus is a little bit better than the Galaxy S7 edge, getting a general score of 78.1 against 78.1. Both phones in this review have Android OS, but Galaxy S5 Plus has the older 4.4.2 version while Galaxy S7 edge has Android 8.0 Oreo. The Galaxy S5 Plus construction is just a little lighter than Galaxy S7 edge, although it's just a little bit thicker and was released about a year before.

Galaxy S5 Plus has a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S5 Plus also counts with an extra graphics processing unit. Galaxy S5 Plus has a little sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, although it has a quite smaller display, a way worse resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a bit worse pixels density.

The Galaxy S7 edge features much more memory to install applications and games than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has 32 GB internal memory and a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 200 GB. Samsung Galaxy S7 edge counts with a camera that is just as good as the camera in Galaxy S5 Plus, because although the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge has a worse 3840x2160 video definition and a way worse 12 megapixels resolution back-facing camera, it also counts with a bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a way bigger diafragm aperture.

Samsung Galaxy S7 edge features greater battery life than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has 3600mAh of battery capacity instead of 2800mAh.

The Galaxy S5 Plus not only is the best phones of the ones we compare here, but it's also a bargain compared to others.
