Comparison review

Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, getting an 80.1 score against 78.1. Although Galaxy XCover FieldPro is incredibly newer than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, it is incredibly heavier and a lot thicker. These phones use Android operating system, but the Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a newer 8.0 Oreo version and Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus has Android 4.4.2, so it offers lots of additional features and enhanced performance.

Galaxy XCover FieldPro features a little faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with a higher number of cores and a larger amount of RAM. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus counts with a little more vivid display than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, although it has a way worse 1920 x 1080 resolution and way less pixels per display inch, they both have a screen with the same size.

The Galaxy S5 Plus captures much better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a way tinier aperture which is not nice for low-light photography and video and a tinier back-facing camera sensor giving a worse image quality, it also counts with a lot higher 3840x2160 video definition and a back-facing camera with lot more mega pixels.

The Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with a superior storage capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 512 GB and 64 GB internal memory. The Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a really longer battery life than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity against 2800mAh.

Although Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy S5 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy S5 Plus. If you prefer to save some money, you can get the Galaxy S5 Plus, giving up a couple features, but you will get the most with your savings.
