Comparison review

Xperia 5 II is better than Galaxy S5 Plus, getting a score of 87.2 against 78.1. The Xperia 5 II construction is a lot newer and a little bit thinner than the Galaxy S5 Plus's, although it's somewhat heavier. The Galaxy S5 Plus has a little sharper screen than Xperia 5 II, although it has a little bit smaller screen, a little worse pixel count in each inch in the screen and a bit worse 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution.

Xperia 5 II has a much greater memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has an external memory card slot that holds up to 1000 GB and 112 GB more internal memory. Xperia 5 II counts with a little better hardware performance than Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with a higher number of faster cores and a larger amount of RAM.

Xperia 5 II has a really longer battery lifetime than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity. The Xperia 5 II has a little bit better camera than Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has a lot less mega pixels resolution camera and a lower 3840x2160 video definition, it also counts with a lot larger diafragm aperture to take better photography and videos in low light situations and a way bigger sensor providing a much higher image quality.

Although Sony Xperia 5 II is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy S5 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy S5 Plus. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get Galaxy S5 Plus, letting go a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
