The Xperia XZ2 Premium has a score of 82.2, which is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus's 78.1 global score. Even though Xperia XZ2 Premium is much newer than the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, it is noticeably heavier and much thicker. The Xperia XZ2 Premium features a much better screen than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a way better 2160 x 3840 resolution, a little bit bigger display and much more pixels per inch in the display.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a much better memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has 64 GB internal storage and an external memory card slot that admits up to 400 GB. Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a little bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with a larger number of cores and a higher amount of RAM.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, and although they both have the same video quality and the same video frame rate, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a larger back-facing camera sensor providing a better image quality, a larger aperture to take better photos in low-light environments and a back facing camera with more mega-pixels.
