Xperia Z5 Premium is a little bit better than Galaxy S5 Plus, having a 79.8 score against 78.1. Xperia Z5 Premium's construction is newer and just a bit thinner, but also somewhat heavier than Galaxy S5 Plus. Both phones in this comparison review work with Android OS, but the Xperia Z5 Premium has a more recent 5.1 version and Galaxy S5 Plus has Android 4.4.2 version.
Sony Xperia Z5 Premium's CPU is very similar to the Galaxy S5 Plus one, because although the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has a worse 450 megahertz graphics processing unit, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM memory and a higher number of cores (but slower). The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a much better looking screen than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has much more pixels per inch of display, a quite larger display and a way better 3840 x 2160 resolution.
The Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a way bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has more internal storage capacity and a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 200 GB. The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has just a bit better camera than Galaxy S5 Plus, and although they both have the same video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium also has a back-facing camera with much more MP, a bigger camera sensor and a bigger diafragm aperture for better low light photography and videos.
Sony Xperia Z5 Premium counts with better battery life than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has 3430mAh of battery capacity against 2800mAh.
Although Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy S5 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy S5 Plus. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get Galaxy S5 Plus, letting go a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your budget.
