The Xiaomi Mi 8 has a global score of 83.3, which is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus's score of 78.1. Xiaomi Mi 8's design is incredibly newer and just a little bit thinner than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus's, but it's also heavier.
