Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a global score of 81.2, which is a bit better than the Galaxy S5 Plus's general score of 78.1. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a incredibly newer and a bit thinner phone than the Galaxy S5 Plus, but it's also way heavier. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus counts with a brighter screen than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has a bit worse 1920 x 1080 resolution and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a bit greater screen pixel density.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a much greater storage for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with more internal memory. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 counts with a bit superior processing unit than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with a greater number of cores (but slower) and a greater amount of RAM.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has improved battery life than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a 21 percent bigger battery capacity. Galaxy S5 Plus has a little bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for taking photos or videos in low light situations, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same video definition, the Galaxy S5 Plus also counts with a bigger sensor shooting better quality videos and photos and a back facing camera with lot more mega pixels.
Although Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy S5 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy S5 Plus. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Galaxy S5 Plus, resigning a couple features and specifications.
