The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha has a global score of 88.9, which is much better than the Galaxy S5 Plus's score of 78.1. Both devices in this review work with Android OS (operating system), but Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha has the previous 10 version and Galaxy S5 Plus has Android 4.4.2. Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha's construction is way newer, but incredibly heavier and notably thicker than the Galaxy S5 Plus.
Galaxy S5 Plus features a sharper screen than Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha, because although it has a lot lower resolution of 1920 x 1080px and a much smaller display, it also counts with a quite higher display pixel density. The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha counts with a way bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with more internal memory.
Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha has just a little better performance than Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with 10 GB more RAM and a larger number of faster cores. The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha features a little bit better camera than Galaxy S5 Plus, and although they both have the same video quality and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha also has a much bigger camera sensor providing a much higher image quality, a much higher resolution back-facing camera and a much bigger aperture for better low light captures.
Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha counts with a really longer battery performance than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a 4050mAh battery capacity against 2800mAh.
