IPhone 14 Pro Max is way better than the Galaxy S5 Sport, having a general score of 94.9 against 77.8. IPhone 14 Pro Max works with iOS 16.x OS, while Galaxy S5 Sport comes with Android 4.4.2 OS. IPhone 14 Pro Max's body is incredibly newer and somewhat thinner, but also extremely heavier than Galaxy S5 Sport.
IPhone 14 Pro Max features a superior CPU than Galaxy S5 Sport, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, it also counts with more processing cores, more RAM and a 64-bit CPU. The Galaxy S5 Sport features a bit more vivid screen than Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max, although it has a much lower resolution of 1920 x 1080, a lot smaller display and a little inferior amount of pixels per inch in the screen.
Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max captures better photographs and videos than Galaxy S5 Sport, and although they both have the same video resolution, the Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max also has a back facing camera with a way higher 48 mega pixels resolution, higher video frame rate and a bigger diafragm aperture to take better captures and video in low light situations.
The Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max counts with much more storage capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy S5 Sport, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity. IPhone 14 Pro Max has a superior battery performance than Galaxy S5 Sport, because it has a 4323mAh battery capacity against 2800mAh.
Although iPhone 14 Pro Max is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy iPhone 14 Pro Max, else you can save some dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport, resigning a couple specifications.
