Comparison review
The iPhone 8 Plus is much better than Galaxy S5 Sport, with an 87.1 score against 77.8. The iPhone 8 Plus design is notably newer and somewhat thinner, but also way heavier than the Galaxy S5 Sport. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport counts with a little more vivid display than iPhone 8 Plus, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1920 x 1080, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport also counts with a little bit greater quantity of pixels per inch in the screen.
IPhone 8 Plus has a bit better performance than Galaxy S5 Sport, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with a 64-bits processor, a larger amount of RAM memory and 2 more processing cores. IPhone 8 Plus takes a bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy S5 Sport, because although it has a lot less mega pixels resolution camera in the back, a tinier sensor taking lower quality videos and images and a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, it also counts with a larger camera aperture to capture better captures and videos in low light situations.
The iPhone 8 Plus features a way bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Galaxy S5 Sport, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 240 GB more internal memory. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport features a bit longer battery performance than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, because it has a 2800mAh battery size.
Although Apple iPhone 8 Plus is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy S5 Sport, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy S5 Sport. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Apple iPhone 8 Plus, else you can save some money and get the Galaxy S5 Sport, letting go a couple specs and features.
