Comparison review
The Galaxy S5 Sport is just a bit better than the HTC One M9, with a 77.8 score against 77.7. Both of these phones have Android operating system, but the Galaxy S5 Sport has the older 4.4.2 version while HTC One M9 has Android 5.0 version. The Galaxy S5 Sport body is a little thinner but a little heavier than the HTC One M9, and they were released only a couple months apart.
HTC One M9 counts with a little bit better display than Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport, because although it has a bit smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1920 x 1080, the HTC One M9 also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch in the display. HTC One M9 features just a bit better performance than Galaxy S5 Sport, because it has a 64-bits processing unit, more RAM memory, 4 more processing cores and a much better graphics processor working at 600 MHz.
The HTC One M9 counts with a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport, and although they both have the same video definition, a F2.2 aperture and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the HTC One M9 also has a camera with more mega-pixels and a bigger sensor shooting higher quality videos and pictures.
HTC One M9 has a much bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy S5 Sport, and although they both have an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB, the HTC One M9 also has 16 GB more internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport and the HTC One M9 both count with incredibly similar batteries performance, although the HTC One M9 also has 2840mAh of battery capacity.
Although Galaxy S5 Sport is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the HTC One M9, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the HTC One M9. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Galaxy S5 Sport, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the HTC One M9, resigning some features and specs.
