Huawei Mate 20 has an overall score of 79.5, which is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport's 77.8 score. Even though the Huawei Mate 20 is somewhat heavier than Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport, it's a bit thinner and much newer. Both of these devices have Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei Mate 20 has newer 9.0 Pie version while Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport has Android 4.4.2, providing the user a couple nice extra features.
The Huawei Mate 20 has just a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM and more cpu cores. The Galaxy S5 Sport features just a bit better screen than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has a little lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a little higher pixel amount per inch in the screen.
Huawei Mate 20 counts with a bit better camera than Galaxy S5 Sport, because although it has a lower (4K) video resolution and a camera with lot less MP, it also counts with a larger back camera sensor providing a higher image quality and a larger camera aperture. The Huawei Mate 20 has a much bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy S5 Sport, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with more internal memory.
Huawei Mate 20 has a much better battery lifetime than Galaxy S5 Sport, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
Although Huawei Mate 20 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy S5 Sport, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy S5 Sport. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Huawei Mate 20, else you can save some money and get the Galaxy S5 Sport, resigning some features and specifications.
