Comparison review
The Huawei P30 is a bit better than Galaxy S5 Sport, getting a general score of 81.7 against 77.8. The Huawei P30 is a newer and somewhat thinner cellphone than the Galaxy S5 Sport, although it's also a little bit heavier. Both devices in our current comparison include Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei P30 has an older 10 version and Galaxy S5 Sport has Android 4.4.2.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport counts with a better looking screen than Huawei P30, because although it has a little smaller screen and a little bit lower 1920 x 1080 resolution, it also counts with a just a little greater pixel count per inch of display. The Huawei P30 features a little bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, it also counts with more CPU cores and 4 GB more RAM memory.
Huawei P30 counts with a way bigger storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy S5 Sport, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 112 GB more internal storage capacity. The Huawei P30 shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same video resolution, the Huawei P30 also has a larger aperture to capture better captures and videos in low-light situations, a camera in the back with much more megapixels and a much bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
Huawei P30 counts with better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport, because it has a 30% larger battery capacity.
Although Huawei P30 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy S5 Sport, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy S5 Sport. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get Galaxy S5 Sport, and give up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your money.
