Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has a global score of 79.3, which is a little bit better than Galaxy S5 Sport's 77.8 general score. Both phones in this review come with Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has newer 5.1 version while Galaxy S5 Sport has Android 4.4.2, so it gives lots of additional features and improved performance. Samsung Galaxy Note 5's design is newer and thinner, but also a little heavier than the Galaxy S5 Sport.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 counts with just a bit better looking display than Galaxy S5 Sport, because it has a bit bigger display, a bit greater display pixels density and a better resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport features a quite better hardware performance than Galaxy Note 5, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor and a greater number of cores (and faster).

The Galaxy Note 5 shoots a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy S5 Sport, and although they both have a same size sensor, the same video resolution, the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and a back-facing camera with a 16 MP resolution, the Galaxy Note 5 also has a bigger aperture for better low light images.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 counts with more storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory. Galaxy Note 5 features just a little bit longer battery duration than Galaxy S5 Sport, because it has a 3000mAh battery size against 2800mAh.

Although Galaxy Note 5 is a better device, it costs more money than the Galaxy S5 Sport, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy S5 Sport. If you prefer to save some money, you can get Galaxy S5 Sport, giving up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
